2022 Golf for Kids Sake

Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orillia & District and fellow golf enthusiasts for a fun day in support of vital mentoring programs.

Golf for Kid’s Sake returns Friday, August 26th at the beautiful Settlers’ Ghost Golf Club!

We are truly grateful to Harvey’s – Orillia for their ongoing commitment as our Presenting Sponsor!

The purpose of the event is to raise funds in which 100% of the proceeds go to supporting youth in our community through our  community and school-based mentoring programs. We are looking for donations to be used in raffles, and prize baskets for attendees. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and will help support this fundraising event.

BBBSOD offers both community and school-based programs. Community-based programs include one-on-one mentoring, as well as group programs offered to mentees on our waitlist. Through an MOU with our local school board, our volunteers provide one-on-one mentoring and facilitate group programs, Game On and Go Girls which encourage healthy living skills.

Funds raised through this event will directly support mentoring programs for vulnerable young people in our local communities.
