Partnership Opportunities
Event Sponsorship
Event sponsorship is a great way to raise your company’s profile and engage your team. Whether you choose to sponsor one event or multiple, we develop a plan to reflect your budget. Every event offers varying levels of sponsorship with benefits that create return for your support.
In recent surveys:
- 92% of consumers consider it important for corporations to contribute to non-profits.
- 76% of consumers have taken part in at least one cause-related marketing campaign.
- 90% of millennials said they would switch to a brand affiliated with a good cause, if price and quality were equal.
Employee Engagement & Giving
Research shows that employees who are given the opportunity to give back to their community through their employer are more productive, feel more positive about the company that they work for, and are more engaged. It has also been reported that companies that are involved with social causes and charitable organizations have a higher employee engagement and retention rate as well as reach 87% more consumers than those without charitable ties.
We have numerous employee engagement opportunities such as employee volunteering through our In-School mentoring program and team participation in fundraising events such as Bowl or Golf for Kids’ Sake. We are always open to discussing creative opportunities to meet your unique employee engagement challenges.
Many companies offer matching gift programs. Employees of matching gift companies can donate to our agency and have their donation impact doubled. Please check with your company’s HR or charitable giving departments for clarification of any policies.

Third-Party Fundraising / Events
These efforts are organized by yourself or your organization to help raise funds necessary for Big Brothers Big Sisters to operate and ensure we can help every child reach their full potential. A third-party event can be any activity hosted by a non-affiliated group or individual. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada has no fiduciary responsibility and little or no staff involvement, however, we will support you and your event as much as possible to help it be a success. Whether it is a milestone event, a raffle or auction, or a staff appreciation event, we are here to provide the support needed.
Examples include: A “something”-a-thon, raffles, auctions, galas, parties, sporting events or tournaments – “something-for-kids-sake”.
Program Sponsorship
Each year, our agency provides free mentoring programs to hundreds of vulnerable children and youth in our region. We offer this support through a variety of programs within the community and in our schools. Our agency is 100% community-funded and we can only continue to offer our life-changing programs through the generosity and support of our community. By sponsoring a program, you can help us achieve more!
The costs associated with our programs vary but, include things like supplying healthy snacks, interactive activities, volunteer recruitment, insurance, training, and match support from our Mentoring Coordinators. For specifics surrounding program sponsorship, please contact us.
